1. Adding Songs:
With Acoustica MP3 CD Burner, you are able to quickly and easily find your songs
in three ways. First we will outline the "Find Songs" feature.
Within this window, you have the capability to search by artist, song, directories
as well as specific hard drives. When you have found the songs you are interested
in, just click the song and it will be prepared for burning.

2. Copying Track Information
With Acoustica MP3 CD Burner, you are able to export track information into your
favorite word processing/CD labeling program. This is done simply and quickly
by utilizing the "Copy" and "Paste" features you may already be familiar with.
To copy the track information of a specific track, click the track to select it
(the track should turn blue). Then select "Copy" from the "Edit" menu [keyboard
shortcut: Ctrl+C]. Alternatively, right click and select "Copy."
Now go to your favorite word processing/CD labeling program and paste the track
information by selecting "Paste" from the "Edit" menu [keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+V].

3. Manually Adjusting Track Volume
Some tracks or songs have a significantly lower volume than other tracks for a
variety of reasons. Use this option to adjust the volume so that it sounds more
like the other tracks.
First, load the songs into Acoustica MP3 CD Burner. When you find a song you wish
to alter, right-click on it and click "Adjust Track Volume."

4. Bringing Up The Log File
A log file will be created during operation of the software so that errors or
program defects can be tracked. If you feel you have found a bug or are having
technical problems, the log file allows us to assist you through the issue.
To bring up the log file, click: "Start" > "Programs" > "Acoustica MP3 CD Burner"
> "MP3 CD Burner Log File" (see the diagram to the left).

5. Disabling Auto Insert Notification (Win98/ME)
You may need to disable something called "Auto Insert Notification" for your CD
Recorder. The problem is that when the table of contents is being recorded, Window's
suddenly "sees" the new CD and tries to read it, which can cause the burn to fail.
Go into your System Control Panel by clicking the "Start" > "Settings" > "Control
Panel". Then double click the "System" control panel to bring it up. Click on
the "Device Manager" tab.

6. Disabling Auto Insert Notification (Windows XP, NT, 2000)
You may need to disable something called "Auto Insert Notification" for your CD
Recorder. The problem is that when the table of contents is being recorded, Window's
suddenly "sees" the new CD and tries to read it, which can cause the burn to fail.
First you will need to open the Registry Editor.
To do this, click "Start" then click "Run" and type in "regedit" (without the
quotes).
Next, go to the following registry items:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom\
Next, look towards the right side of the registry screen for "AutoRun" or "AutoPlay".
Double click on this text then in the "value data" field, enter a "0" to disable
Auto Insert Notification.

7. Using Acoustica MP3 CD Burner in a Party
Acoustica MP3 CD Burner can even become a professional sounding "DJ" at a party.
You will be able to take requests and have each track seamlessly fade into the
next.
You are able to quickly and easily find requested songs and add them into the
play list. In this example, "Time to Party" was requested, so you can simply type
it into the Find Window and just click the song to add it to the active play list!
It also may be desirable to print up a list of all songs you have on your computer.

copy this information and create a list.
Also, you may wish to convert some of your existing audio CDs into MP3 format
with a process called CD Ripping.

8. Converting LP/Audio Cassettes to CD
To transfer vinyl LP records to CD, you will need to record the LP as one large
Wave file.
You can use Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer or LP Recorder.
You will need to create one big wave file for each side of the LP.
